A Note From Pastor Lackey

Dear Church Family,

Trust this letter finds you well and enjoying the constant presence of the Spirit of Christ, our comforter, teacher and friend.   More than ever we must learn to trust our Lord especially during these times of uncertainty and struggle.    As we see the rise of wickedness in our nations, where our leaders are moving us toward that great and terrible day, we must hold fast to God’s Word for wisdom and guidance.   God’s word teaches us that the world will march toward a predictable end as predetermined by our sovereign Lord.   “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein:  for the time is a hand (Rev. 1:3).    Knowing that we are moving toward the final hours of life on earth, does not mean that we are to sit on a hill and just wait.  In fact, the exact opposite is true.  Paul tells us to “do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep, for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed (Rom. 13:11).  In other words, get busy about the things of God.
